September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the Morris County Youth Football League (MCYFL) is once again partnering with TEAMSean to help raise awareness for pediatric cancer. You can do your part by Going Gold in September! Players, coaches, cheerleaders, and fans are encouraged to wear GOLD during the month of September in support of this important cause. Sean Ries, from the Parsippany Little Vikings, who has been battling a brain tumor since 2012 and was the inspiration behind starting the GOLD OUT initiative, has recently relapsed and is fighting once again.
As always, 100% of the proceeds from all Gold Out sales will go the the MCYFL Charities to help families in the league with a child battling a serious health issue. Please use the following link to place orders:
Little Vikings Football is dedicated to the advancement and personal development of boys and girls through an outstanding athletic program. Building on a program that was ignited by Bill Wohlrob and Randy Capriola in 1996. The "Little Vikings Family" consists of dedicated volunteers and coaches serving our community with opportunity for our kids. Connected to the Parsippany Hills High School Football Program, the Little Vikings organization provides continuity of teaching, strategies, and code of conduct for our players and cheerleaders that prepares them for their high school career.
